Spectrum
KnowledgeArchitect.org content, covering a relatively wide spectrum of issues and articles, organizes them in sections and sub-sections, in the hope of an introduction reference document on knowledge architecture.

Issues
The document briefly considers the natural structure, principles, and patterns of knowledge, how to better process, model, manage, entitle, and share knowledge, as well as how optimize knowledge management technology.

Origins
Most of the information presented here results from decades of R&D work that lead to the development of DNAOS Resource Entitlement, Modeling, Management, and Sharing (REMMS) technology, and to the Cosmos Square knowledge sharing virtual environment project, as well as from discussions and exchanges, especially around various standardization efforts.

Objective
This information document aims to lay some solid foundations for more systematic, structured, interactive, and effective knowledge architecture, management, modeling and sharing.

Glossary
Knowledge architecture is a relatively new field and requires a reference glossary. Words are one of our main communication tools, but we have to attach common meanings to them.

Terms
This document tries to use plain English words with common definitions but the hyperlink knowledge architecture glossary considers them especially in the context of knowledge architecture.

Refinement
Already with over 300 definitions, there seems to be no end to maintaining the Glossary, and it should be considered as a work in progress.

Structure
Designed somewhat as a book, and a technical reference document, the KnowledgeArchitect.org content is structured in sections that match volumes, each with various levels of nested chapters, each with a menu to its sub-sections, as well as "leaf" pages.

Document Flow
As the basic content logic flow is reflected in the section titles and menu entries, following the menu options sequentially may be initially recommended.

Navigation
A section header bar at the bottom of page headers provides easy access to all parent sections (chapters). A sitemap available at the bottom of each page provides a table of content and overview with direct access to sections and content. The document also provides related links referring both inside and outside of the document.

Sequencial reading is also supported through "Continue to" links at the bottom of each page
