Knowledge Architecture Application

Effective knowledge architecture benefits all, and especially IT-based, applications.

Some applications are especially notable and key, including modeling, resource management, collaboration, sharing, access control, capability management, process and content management, adaptive case management, authoring, publishing, governance, and many others.

While detailed consideration is not possible here, this document simply attempts to briefly introduce two existing, yet new, “real-world”, application types, as examples.

The first is a knowledge resource entitlement, modeling, management, and sharing (REMMS) application framework, and the second is an advanced 3D virtual world knowledge sharing social network application, built over the initial framework.
