What Are Virtual Profiles?
- Virtual profiles are resources decoupled from their persistence form and media
- Each virtual profile component (ex: quality) can be associated to a different source
or persistence form and media (ex: database)
- Each virtual profile component (ex: quality) can be associated to multiple sources
or persistence forms and media
- Each virtual profile component (ex: quality) persistence form and media association
can be independently fully qualified, secured, and prioritized
- Each virtual profile component (ex: quality) is subject to all related and relevant
entitlement specifications
- Virtual profiles are otherwise resources like all other resources and can be modelled,
transformed, and shared like any knowledge resource
- Virtual profile archetypes are characterized by their decoupled persistence qualities
